Flex India’s Celebratory Activities Mark Ear th Day 2025 with Impactful Community Ini tiatives in Chennai & Kanchipuram
Flex, a global leader in electronics manufa cturing and supply chain solutions, is reinf orcing its dedication to community giving through employee engagement and volunt eering with a series of impactful corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives in Che nnai and Kanchipuram during April 2025, in observance of Earth Day.
Supporting Public Health Infrastructure in
line with its dedication to community welln ess, Flex employee volunteers rolled up its sleeves for a cleaning and main tenancedri ve at the Molachur Primary Health Centre (PHC). This initiative aim ed to boost hygien e standards and creat e a more inviting atm osphere for both patients and staff. The vol unteers, which included passionate employ yees and thei r families who also donated 1 ,000 masks to the PHC, adding a layer of su pport to their efforts.
Protecting Coastal Ecosystems:
Understanding the importance of marine ec osystems, Flex organized a beach cleanup at the iconic Marina Beach in collaboration with the local NGO Goodera. Employees and their families came toge ther to tackle wast e removal while raisi ng awareness about th e serious impacts of marine pollution. This initiative not only highlighted Flex’s comm itment to the environment but also strength ened th e community spirit and collective re sponsibility.
These activities were just a glimpse of Flex ex’s broader Earth Day efforts in Chennai an d Kanchipuram districts which included a li vely walkathon, an energetic marathon, a tr ee plantation drive, and an engaging envir vironmental awareness pro gram at a scho ol for the visually impaired.
