
Daikin New Office Facility and Experien ence Centre Inaugurated at Chennai

(DAIPL), a wholly owned subsidiary of D aikin Industries Ltd., Japan, and the mar ket leader in India’s air-conditioning ind ustry, today announced the grand inaug uration of its new regional office and sta te-of-the-art Daikin Experience Center at Arumbakkam, Poonamallee High Roa d, Chennai. The event was marked by sig nificant enthusiasm and marked a milest one in Daikin’s continued investment in the Tamil Nadu market.
This newly inaugurated office space is a testament to Daikin’s confidence in the Chennai market and its commitment to delivering top-quality experiences to dis cerning customers in the region. The new office will house various key fu nctions including Product Sales, Service, Technical Support, and other Support D epartments, serving as a comprehensive support hub for customers and channel partners alike. Reiterating its commitment to the India n market, Daikin India recently inaugura ted its third R&D centre at Neemrana, R ajasthan. Spanning 24,000 square meter s (6 acres), this state-of-the-art facility will employ over 500 engineers focused on research and the development of cus tomized HVACR products tailored to me et evolving energy standards, advanced technologies, and eco-friendly refrigera ant requirements for both Indian and gl obal consumers.
The new R&D centre features 22 advan ced testing labs, equipped to develop a f ull range of HVACR solutions. It is desig ned to significantly enhance Daikin’s ma nufacturing competitiveness, particularl y in meeting the growing export deman ds of overseas markets.
Among its stand out capabilities is one of India’s largest a ir-cooled chiller test laboratories, boast ing a 600 TR testing capacity, representi ng a major advance ment in the HVAC se ctor. Established w ith a total investment of INR 500 Crore, this facility is Daikin’s third developmen t centre in India, comp lementing its exis ting Mechanical R&D Centre in Neemra ana and AI-IoT Lab in Hyderabad.
