Movie Review-:
Although the theme of the film is the phrase “He who takes a knife will die with a knife”, the screenplay and visuals make the film travel briskly and at some points keep the audience on the edge of their seats.
Anish Masilamani, who plays the hero of the story, has handled the rowdy character Mani with a simple appearance and modest acting. In particular, his mature acting in every scene, in which he regrets the situation in which he was rowdy and is careful not to let his younger brother come to such a place, attracts the attention of the audience.
K.P.Y. Deena, although initially a simple character, suddenly takes on a worldly form and creates a huge twist in the screenplay.
Mime Gopi, through his experienced acting, has not only become a symbol of the film, but has also acted and scored in a way that adds strength to his character.
Ramachandra Durairaj, Kalaiyarasan, Chithrasenan, and Sidhu Kumaresan, although they appear only in small roles, have played an important role in the screenplay.
Cinematographer Johnny Nash, despite the simple locations, has presented them from various angles and brought the horror of the plot before our eyes.

Although there are no songs, music composer Dume, in places where the background music is important, has given the screenplay additional vibrancy with his background music, although in some places it seems like he is banging on the furniture.
Although the life of the rowdies who travel by cutting and stabbing is told in flesh and blood, Praveen.M’s editing makes even the violent scenes increase the interest of the screenplay and keep the audience on the edge of their seats at times.
Written and directed by Hari Venkatesh, he has succeeded in making an ordinary story an interesting film through the way it is narrated and the visuals.
Director Hari Venkatesh, who has depicted the lives of rowdies surrounded by violence without showing them in a blood-spattered manner, has presented them as a normal life that reveals their family, expectations, sadness, love, loss, and desire for revenge, and has asked us to savor it in the language of the screen.
Overall, ‘Friday’ is a film for cinema fans.
