Story-:
Tanya Ravichandran, a doctor at a governm ent hospital in Kasimedu, Chennai, does something honestly without succumbing to threats or orders from anyone, including a police inspector, a former MLA, and a medical secretary. Due to this, Daniel Balaji, a terrible rowdy in the area, threatens to kill her.
The Chennai Police Commissioner, who intervenes in the matter, calls Daniel Balaji, threatens and humiliates him. Daniel Balaji, who becomes very angry at this, tries to take revenge on Tanya Ravichandran despite the police’s warnings. ‘BP 180’ is a vivid and somewhat illogical account of the events that happen after that.

Movie Review-:
Tanya Ravichandran, who plays the role of Doctor Thangam, the heroine of the story, is a courageous woman, and she impresses with her modest performance. Despite the threats, she is determined to complete her medical work honestly and indifferently ignores the threats of her enemies. The challenge given to her in the end, who focuses on her work amidst the threats of Daniel Balaji, makes the theater tremble.

Daniel Balaji, in the role of Kasimedu rowdy Arnold, although the atrocities he commits seem a little excessive, has very nicely expressed the way he forgets his own position and acts in accordance with the title of the film. When a woman shatters his idea of a hero who no one can defeat, a man who loves someone else’s wife, he expresses his anger through his eyes and establishes himself as a monster not only as a character but also as an actor.

Cinematographer Ramalingam has done magic with his camera in both darkness and day.Although there are no songs, music composer Ghibran, who has conveyed the tension in the scenes to the audience through his background music, has expressed the mood of the two main characters through his music.
Editor Ilayaraja Sekar, who has edited the scenes to keep the film moving with great anticipation from the beginning to the interval, has edited the film even there, while the second half travels in a commercial style, without reducing the excitement of the screenplay.

Written and directed by J.P., the conflict between a female doctor at a government hospital and a rowdy, and the consequenc es that arise from it, keeps the audience in suspense throughout the first half through the making. At the same time, he has trapped the screenplay in logical violations through some scenes and ended it as a typical commercial film.

Director J.P., who has a scene in a way that makes the police proud by showing a photo of the current Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin in the Police Commissioner’s office, and in the next few minutes, has a scene in a way that causes trouble not only for the Police Commissioner but also for the entire police force, seems to be suppo rting the opposition parties who accuse them of not having good law and order in Tamil Nadu.
The question of whether a rowdy, no matter what plan he makes, can do this to a Police Commissioner? shows that the film is far from reality. Otherwise, the making and the way the characters are introduced have added great strength to the film.
Overall, ‘BB 180’ is not affected.
