*“Parasakthi is a piece of history and will be a special film for all” – Atharvaa Murali*

The actor with an unbeatable charm and an unrelenting hunger for exploring new roles, Atharvaa Murali stands as the epitome of versatility, proving his proficiency across diverse characters. Having already captured hearts with his heart-warming and compelling performances, he now commands the spotlight with his striking looks and characterisations in Sivakarthikeyan’s forthcoming film Parasakthi. With the film poised for a worldwide theatrical release on 10 January 2026, the actor shares his most cherished moments from the production.

“I had previously known Aakash Bhaskaran as a director; he has now transitioned to production. It was Aakash who first narrated the concept of Parasakthi and my characterisation therein. I am profoundly grateful to him for entrusting this project to me. Sreeleela exudes such vitality that her bubbly presence invigorates the entire set. She shall be hailed as an unparalleled performer through this film, one of the finest dancers in the Indian industry.

Ravi Mohan has long been an inspiration. I still recall watching his dance in Santhosh Subramaniam with my family: a particular sequence in which he dances alone in the rain filled us all with joy. My mother remarked that when one engages in joyful pursuits, those around them share in the happiness. From that moment, I embraced the ideal of cultivating personal joy while spreading it to others.

I have known Sudha ma’am for many years. Upon meeting her for this film, she insisted I forgo the title of ‘ma’am’, for she is the creator of cult masterpieces, of which she remains blissfully unaware.

Sivakarthikeyan is now my brother both onscreen and off. I have always marvelled at his career growth; every step he takes is meticulously calculated. Few successes feel as intimately personal as his, and SK’s achievements fill me with unalloyed joy. Parasakthi is a piece of history, mirroring the student movements that shaped our state. It promises to be a special and indelible film for all of you.”

Parasakthi is produced by Aakash Bhaskaran of Dawn Pictures and is directed by Sudha Kongara. With an ensemble star-cast featuring Sivakarthikeyan, Ravi Mohan, Atharvaa Murali, and Sreeleela in the lead characters, the film’s musical score by GV Prakash and the scintillating visual promos have placed the film on radars of high expectations.

Parasakthi will have its worldwide theatrical release on January 10, 2026.
