Story-;

On Earth-65, Gwen Stacy is struggling to live up to the expectations of her policeman father, who does not know that she is Spider-Woman. Years prior, Gwen accidentally killed her best friend Peter Parker while he was mindle ssly rampaging as the Lizard, and the police have been hunting her ever since. One night, Gwen goes to the Gugg enheim Museum in Manhattan after hearing reports of an intruder, only to run into a version of the Vulture th at comes from an Italian Renaissance-themed alternate universe. Spider-People Miguel O’Hara and Jessica Drew arrive using portal-generating watches and help Gwen subdue the Vulture. Gwen is confronted on the scene by her father, and reveals her identity to him. Distraught at this revelation, he attempts to arrest her. She esca p es through a dimensional portal with the others after Miguel begrudingly grants her membership in the Spider-Soc iety.In Brooklyn on Earth-1610, sixteen months after the destruction of the Alchemax collider,  Miles Morales is adapting to being Spider-Man while missing Gwen and struggling to live up to his parents’ expectations.

While heading to a parent-teacher evaluation, he encounters the Spot, a scientist whose body was infused with portals after the Alchemax collider explosion.[a] Blaming Miles for his dilemma, the Spot brings Miles to Alchem ax. He then accidentally transports himself into a void, where he learns to travel to other universes that contain the Alchemax collider so he can use them to empower himself.Gwen travels to Earth-1610 and reconnects with Miles, though she is secretly tracking the Spot across dimensions. Miles secretly watches Gwen trace him, after which Drew instructs Gwen to leave Miles behind. Gwen opens a portal, which Miles follows through to Mumba ttan on Earth-50101. They encounter Spider-Men Pavitr Prabhakar and Hobie Brown before confronting the Sp ot, who successfully absorbs the power of that world’s collider. Miles is struck with a vision of his father dying at the hands of the Spot before the Spot escapes. In the ensuing destruction of the collider, Miles saves police Capt ain Singh, the father of Prabhakar’s girlfriend.

However, Mumbattan then begins falling apart from the disruption of a “canon event”. Members of the Spider-So ciety arrive to assess the damage of the dimensional anomaly, while Miles, Gwen, Prabhakar, and Hobie are sent to their headquarters on Earth-928, where hundreds of Spider-Man variants reside in a massive complex. They meet up with Miguel and are joined by Peter B. Parker and his daughter Mayday. Miguel explains how each Spid er-Man’s story contains “canon events”, such as the death of a police captain, and that straying from those events threatens the fabric of the multiverse.Miles realizes that his father’s death is a canon event. He argues with Migu el, who imprisons him. However, Hobie helps Miles break loose, then uses a portal to escape the Society. Miguel orders all of the Spider-People to apprehend Miles, resulting in a long, frenzied chase through the complex. Migu el eventually pins Miles down and tells him that he was never supposed to become Spider-Man, as the spider tha t bit him came from another universe, making Miles the original anomaly and leaving that world with no Spider-Man.

Miles flees and, with the help of Spider-Woman Margo Kess, returns to what he believes is his home dimension. S eeing Gwen as a liability, Miguel ejects her from the Spider-Society and sends her back to her universe. Gwen re conciles with her father, who has decided to resign as police captain. Realizing that his resignation is evidence th at canon can be safely violated, Gwen decides to aid Miles, leaving Earth-65 with a bootleg portal watch Hobie le ft with her father for her.As Miles arrives back in his apartment, he reveals to his mother that he is Spider-Man, w hom she doesn’t recognize. After encountering his deceased uncle Aaron Davis and learning that his father ha s already died, Miles realizes that he is in Earth-42, the home world of the spider that bit him. Aaron interr oga te s Miles and is soon joined by the Miles of Earth-42, who has become the Prowler. Miguel, Drew, and Ben Reilly Sc arlet Spider travel to Earth-1610 in search of Miles just as the Spot arrives and begins his attack. After speak ing with Miles’ parents on Earth-1610, Gwen assembles a team, consisting of Peter B., Mayday, Prabhakar, Hobie, Kess, Spider-Man Noir, Peni Parker, and Spider-Ham, to find Miles.

Movie Review-;

After encountering the Spider-Force tasked with protecting the Multiverse, Miles Morales (voiced by Shamac M oore) must decide where he stands as a hero. Review: ‘Into the Spider-Verse’ (2018) impressed everyone with its critical success, raising the stakes with high expectations for a compelling follow-up. It’s safe to say ‘across the s pider-verse’. However, this is a deep, mature and complex sequel. The Morales family dynamic continues to be im portant to the story, and Gwen Stacy (voiced by Hailee Steinfeld) plays a more significant role this time around. S hamac Moore presents a more mature version of Miles Morales who continues to challenge the serious consequ ences of his actions. Gwen Stacy’s worthy background is deepened by Hailee Steinfeld’s voice work.

However, this makes the opening act a mixed bag, especially with its pace and initial impact. After a somewhat e xtended opening, the film’s plot gradually takes shape to fire at all the slingers, with the character beats paying o ff in spades. Among the staggering number of new and old Spider-People, Spider-Punk (voiced by Daniel Kalu uy a) and Pavitr Prabhakar (voiced by Karan Soni) are both memorable. The latter deserves more attention, not just for his desi vibe but because the story calls for it. Oscar Isaac’s fighter, Miguel O’Hara, brings a darkness not ofte n seen in mainstream animation, while Jason Schwartzman elevates Spot above ‘villain of the week’ status with a sly nuance.

As the animators and artists continue to push the limits of the medium, the visual aspect of this film is astoundin g. Each Spider-Man has its own unique visual style, expanding on the universe they came from. Embracing the co mic-book style even harder this time around, there’s a surprising amount of detail in every frame and character d esign that can be overwhelming to absorb at times, but in a good way. Art and animation students will be look ing at these films for years to come. ‘Across the Spider-Verse’ takes the multiverse concept and pushes it where it ha s never been before with other films. There’s so much to digest with so many stories and visual artistry that it’s im possible to digest everything in one glance.

Yet the Easter eggs and surprises never come at the cost of the overall plot or by pandering to fans. Setting up th e inevitable third outing, the sequel immerses us in a very deep and layered story that promises to be rewardin g.   Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is a story where many Spider-Men come together for a common cause. In Earth 65, Gwen Stacy ( Hailee Steinfeld ) is struggling with the death of her best friend, Peter Parker. On top of that, her cop-father George Stacey (Shea Whigham) doesn’t know that Gwen is none other than Spider-Woman. He hates her actions and feels she killed Peter. So, he longs to arrest him. One day, while fighting a monster, Spid er-Woman, or Gwen, meets Miguel O’Hara (Oscar Isaac), a Spider-Man from another universe.

He is joined by a pregnant Spider-Woman named Jessica Drew (Issa Rae). They inform Gwen that this monster is from another universe. They further tell her that when the conflict opened, many monsters jumped from one uni verse to another. Miguel has a watch that allows him to travel from multiple universes without a hitch. He puts t hese demons back into their respective universes. Jessica works with him, as do Spider-Men from multiple unive rses. Miguel asks Gwen to join them. Gwen agrees. Meanwhile, on Earth 1610, Miles Morales (Shamac Moore) co ntinues to save the city as Spider-Man. He struggles to be the best son to his parents, Jefferson Davis (Brian Tyre e Henry) and Rio Morales (Luna Lauren Velez).

One day, he meets a mysterious villain named Spot (Jason Schwartzman). He seems harmless at first, but Miles s oon realizes that’s not the case. On top of that, Spot tells Miles (while he’s in his Spider-Man costume) that he’s t o blame for his condition. Meanwhile, Miguel and Drew send Gwen to Earth 1610 to find Spot. Gwen meets Mil es, whom she considers her only friend. However, she did not tell Miles about her mission. What happens next se ts up the rest of the film.The story by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and David Callaham is fantastic. The screenp lay by Bill Lord, Christopher Miller and David Callaham is very effective. The script has a lot of action and episo des and the way the writing flows seamlessly is commendable.

Also, the writers pepper the story with some impactful funny, action-oriented and emotional scenes. Phil Lord, C hristopher Miller and David Callaham’s dialogue is funny and tough. The opening dialogue is unforgett able. Di rection by Joaquim dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin K Thompson is stylish yet easy to understand. There is a lot going on in the sequel and the director makes sure he progresses quickly, but not too quickly. India Connectio n is amazing and loved by visitors in our country. Apart from that, there are many surprises in theaters that crea te frenzy among the fans. The climax is very unexpected and nail biting.On the other hand, the film is too long at 140 minutes. At some places the film is too long and drags.

Second, unique and innovative animation sometimes becomes too much for the senses.The voice overs are exce llent, with Shamac Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Oscar Isaac, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Velez, Karan Soni (Pavit r Prabhakar) and Daniel Kaluuya (Hobby). Daniel Pemberton’s music adds to the impact. Various songs used in th e background set a good tone. The animation is very impressive. Mike Andrews’ editing is good but could have be en smoother.All in all, Spider-Man: The Spider-Verse is an entertaining, moving and engrossing story. The Indian connection and various surprises in the story will be lapped up by the fans. At the box office, it is shaping up to b e the biggest opener for an animated film in India and has the potential to have a very healthy run.
