Chennai, 20 November 2024: It’s time t o delve into the legacy of the ultimate king of the jungle, Mufasa: The Lion Ki ng, now brought to life in Tamil with s ome of the most popular voices of the Tamil industry! Following the blockbu ster success of 2019’s live-action ‘The L ion King’, the visually stunning live-ac tion Mufasa: The Lion King has a speci al treat in store for fans as the Tamil d ubbed version presents Arjun Das as Mufasa, Ashok Selvan as Taka, the bel oved duo of Robo Shankar and Singam Puli reunite as Pumbaa and Timon res pectively, VTV Ganesh as young Rafiki and industry veteran M. Nasser joining the team as Kiros.
Speaking on voicing for one of the mos t loved characters of cinema, Arjun Da s shares, “Being part of Mufasa: The Li on King is a dream come true, and it’s an honour to voice such an iconic char acter that holds a special place in all o ur childhood memories. As a little kid, I remember watching The Lion King, n ever imagining that years later I would be the voice of Mufasa in Tamil. I’ve al ways wanted to learn more about how Mufasa became one of the greatest kin gs in cinematic history. Bringing Mufa sa to life for Tamil audiences and bein g a part of Disney’s unparalleled story telling has truly been a once-in-a-lifet ime experience!”

Back to voice the beloved Timon after the smashing success of the 2019 film, Singam Puli says, “It is a very happy m oment for me to be back as Timon and be a part of such an iconic film that wi ill bring families together to the theat re. My 2019 experience was extremely memorable, and it was great to relive those moments and bring new touches to Timon’s character this time for Muf asa: The Lion King.
