Chennai, 25th January 2025 – In anticip ation of National Cleanliness Day on Ja nuary 30, 2025, Athulya Senior Care, u nder its flagship initiative, #Caring For ASe nior, organized a major communi ty-driven beach cleaning event at Besa nt Nagar Beach. The initiative, held in collabor ation with Urbaser Sumeet an d the Mad ras School of Social Work, is part of Athulya’s promise to environm mental sustain ability, senior well-bein g, and social responsibility.

With a strong focus on both environm ental care and elder advocacy, this pre lude to National Cleanliness Day brou ght tog ether over 200 volunteers, incl uding At hulya’s dedicated staff, stude nts, environmentalists, and local resid ents, united by a common cause: cleani ng up Chenna i’s iconic Besant Nagar B each. The volunteers worked tirelessly for two hours, re moving significant a mounts of waste, leaving the beach cle aner and more beauttiful for the com munity to enjoy.
