Story -:
There are five villages in the Udumur for est area. One of them is headed by Nata nathar (Sarathkumar). His son is Thinna n (Manju Vishnu). He is convinced that t here is no God, that it is a stone, becaus e he sacrificed his friend to the goddess in his childhood. There is a Vayu Lingam in the area where they live. Mahadeva S hastri (Mohan Babu) is worshipping it.
Kala Mukhi (Arbit Ranga) sets his eyes on that Vayu Lingam. He sends his men.
Thinnan kills them for harassing the wo men in their village. Knowing this, Kala Mukhi attacks these villagers. He plans to kill Thinnan and seize the Vayu Linga m. All five villagers have to come togeth er to stop him. In this situation, fights br eak out among them. One of them is pre paring to marry Nemali (Preethi Mukun dan), whom Thinnan loves.
Due to this, Thinnan fights with him. Nat anathar throws Thinnan out of the hous e because he attacks him severely. At th at moment, Kaala Mukhi attacks. As a re sult, he kills Thinnan’s father. Thinnan e nters the field to avenge his father’s dea th. How did Kaala Mukhi destroy? How did Thinnan, who did not believe in God, become a devotee of Shiva? What did R udra (Prabhas) do in this? Movie Review -:
Many people would know about Lord Sh iva, Kannappa, who appeared in Srikala hasti. The story is about Kannappa beco ming a devotee of Shiva. How did that h appen? The expectations of the film incr eased because big stars acted in it. If the film fulfilled the expectations, then it m ust be said that it did. Since it is a Manju family film, general fans will have a cert tain feeling. But for such people, this can be said to be a surprise. They have made it better than expected. They have done well. The story, the storytelling, the acto rs who played it, the way they chose the right actors for each character is good. I t is well done.
The film starts with the story of Kannap pa. Parvathy asks Shiva how Thinnan, w ho did not believe in God, became his de votee, and the interest in the film increa ses from the moment he tells this story. The superstitions prevailing in the villag e in this sequence, Thinnan opposing the m, calling the Shivalinga a stone, the eve nts that take place in this sequence are d ramatic and captivating. The entire fir st half is about the drama that takes plac e in the village, Manju Vishnu’s love wit h the heroine, sharing her sorrows with Amman due to the absence of her moth er, all the villagers coming together to o ppose Kala Mukhi, and Akshay Kumar e xplaining who Thinnan is to Kajal, the go ddess of the forest. Mohanlal’s arrival in the interval twist, the scenes where he c lashes with Manju Vishnu are interestin g. The interval twist is the highlight of t he first half. The second half is about the war, then Prabhas’ arrival, and the chan ge he brings about in Thinnan.
The first half moves a little slowly. It rev olves around love and superstitions in th e village. The drama is not very captivati ing. But Vishnu’s love scenes with the he roine are in a way that will appeal to the youth. At the same time, they are a bit e xcessive. The intermission twist is great. With the arrival of Prabhas in the secon d half, the film takes a different level. Th e scenes talking about Shiva make you s ay wow. The climax goes even further to wards the climax.
Only one hour of the second half can be s aid to be the real film. Those scenes ar e devotional and emotional. They move the mind from beginning to end. They m ake the blood run cold from beginning t o end. At the climax, Manju Vishnu’s sce nes, Mohan Babu’s scenes reach the pea k. That is the highlight of the film. Along with this, the visuals, music are the speci al features of the film. It is better than e xpected. There is no exaggeration in say ing that they have shot it well. Manju Vi shnu is amazing as a thin person. The fil ms he has acted in so far are on the one hand, and this film is on the other.
Through this film, Vishnu has proven tha t he is a talented actor. He has acted wel l without overacting anywhere. He has a cted at a different level in the climax. Th ere is no exaggeration in saying that the fans’ impression of Vishnu will change abnd become positive through this film. It can be said that he has given his life fo or the character and the film. Prabhas a ppears as Rudra for a short time and ma kes people say wow. Even though he app peared for a short time, he is amazing.
His character is in a way that will please the fans. Akshay Kumar is attractive as Shiva. Kajal is okay as Parvathy. Mohanl al has surprised in the role of Kirathar. A ll these are surprising roles in the film.M Mohan Babu is amazing as Mahadeva Sh astri. In the end, he has also acted well. Brahmanandam and Saptagiri have tried to do comedy. Sarathkumar has acted w ell as Natanathar. Madhubala has also at tracted in the role of Panna. Preethi Mu kundan is charming in the role of Nema li. She is a feast for the youth. The other characters can be said to be okay.
