Movie Review-;

The director has told the story of a murder in the background of school students as an awareness story with a strong social reform concept. Poovaiyar, Ajay, and Arjun, as the 3 students, have given compelling perform ances in many scenes with a new mann erism. Poovaiyar’s dance and emot ional performance are top notch. He makes us peel in the matter of friendship and mother’s affection.

Ajay, who plays a Thirukkural enthusiast, and Arjun, who plays Abdullah, have also scored in many scenes. Java Sundaresan, Vinothini, Thalaivasal Vijay, and Kichcha Ravi, who play their parents, are also mel ting in affection. In particular, Poovaiyar’s mother, Haritha, who plays a cancer victim, is a strong character. Realizing that, she has also acted passionately. The scenes involving her are a big plus for the film. Vela Ramamoorthy comes as a regular villain and makes a sound soundaraja, who comes as the second hero, an ordinary police officer, also acts well after the interval and becomes an important character.

Deena does pranks in the name of a villain ous police officer. The acting of others like the collector, school teacher, policeman is also okay. The voice of the policeman is especially new. The first half runs with the murder committed by 3 students, the police investigation, and the fear of the students. Only in the second half does the story change to the reason for the murder, the effects of tobacco, and the tragedy that Poovaiyar faces because of it. What do the students who are affected by tobacco do to prevent it? The idea of how they do it perfectly is okay.

However, the drama in many places and the lack of realism in the scenes slows down the flow of the film. It is understandable that many scenes are dragged out due to the budget. L.K. Vijay’s camera beautifully shows the background of the Thiruvallur district, the life of the students, and the scenes of the police station. From the beginning to the end, newcomer composer D.R. Krishnasethan is the one who scores the background music. His enthusiasm makes the film enjoyable.

Although the first half moves fast, the second half struggles a bit. The scenes before the climax, the Thirukkural competition, and the villains’ adavati are mediocre. Will 3 students do this? Is murder the solution to the fight against tobacco? What is the collector’s authority? Many questions remain unanswered. If this had been said in a more compelling scene and a more exciting screenplay, it would have been talked about more.

However, in this era of cinema, where big heroes think it is stylish to act in smoking scenes, we can give a hand to the director who has raised his voice against tobacco in cinema and told it as an awareness story that transcends friendship and religions. Ram Abdullah Antony: A good plot against ‘himself’. But, story telling weak
