32ND INDIA-SRI LANKA IMBL MEET HELD Chennai 5 November 2022 32ND INDIA-SRI LANKA IMBL MEET HELD The 32nd IMBL (International Maritime Boundary Line) meeting between India and Sri Lanka was held on 04 No v 2022. The meeting was co-chaired by Rear Admiral S Venkat Raman, Flag Officer Commanding Tamil Nadu & Puduche rry Naval Area and Rear Admiral TMAA Tennekoon, Commander-Northern Naval Area, Sri Lankan Navy. It was held onboard Sri Lankan Navy Ship Sayura, at sea, in the Bay of Bengal. Issues related to Maritime Security and safety of Indian fishermen in the Palk Strait were discussed.
