Coimbatore, June 23rd 2024: In a commendable effort to contribute to environmental sustainability, the children from Coimbatore Metropolitan Ladies Circle 23 organized a plantation drive at Kumaraswamy Lake in RS Puram. Demonstrating their commitment to a greener future, they donated and planted over 100 saplings around the lake.
The initiative, held under the slogan "Plant a Tree Today for a Better Tomorrow," aims to enhance the green cover around Kumaraswamy Lake, fostering a healthier ecosystem. The event saw enthusiastic participation from children, who were guided by volunteers and members of the Coimbatore Metropolitan Ladies Circle 23.
