TAMILNADU NCC DIRECTORATE FELI CITATES CADETS FOR OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE IN SHOOTING COMPE TITIONS
The Headquarters NCC Director ate for Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Andaman & Nicobar Islands proudly celebrated the achievements of its ca dets during a felicitation ceremony h eld on August 5, 2024, at the HQ NCC Directorate in Chennai. The event ho nored the exemplary performance of 66 cadets and their supporting staff in recent prestigious competitions.
A team of 18 valiant NCC cadets from the HQ NCC Directorate participa ted in the Inter-Directorate Shooting C hampionship (IDSSC) 2024, held at Tri chy from July 2 to July 15, 2024. The ca dets displayed remarkable skill, discip line, and sportsmanship, securing top positions and bringing accolades to the directorate. Their dedication and rigor ous training were evident as they excel led in various shooting disciplines, sett ing high standards for their peers.
In addition, 48 cadets represente d the directorate in the 49th Tamil Nad u State Shooting Competition, showca sing their prowess and commitment to excellence in shooting sports. The cad ets’ achievements are a testament to t he rigorous training and support prov ided by the NCC and the dedication of the cadets themselves.
The felicitation ceremony was gr aced by senior officers of the NCC, dign itaries, and the proud parents of the ca dets. The Commanding Officer Commo dore S Raghav praised the cadets for t heir hard work and dedication, encour aging them to continue striving for exc ellence in all their endeavors.
