Movie Review-:
Story, lyrics, songs, music and hero; Th ambi Ramaiah. As the businessman M uru gappa Senrayan, Thambi Ramaiah is mentally ill and wandering around i n miser y, his extramarital affairs, his flirting wit h young women in the nam e of wealth, h is compassion when he g ets into trouble , his son’s neglect, his life of hiding to be ignored by all those who have gained, an d finally joining h is changed wife who supports and emb races him, and even thou gh he shows his dancing skills as much a s possible and goes overboard in some pl aces, he has given his character a perfect contr ibution.
Samuthirakani fails in his attempt to s ave Selvandar and reconcile with the estranged family, and ultimately come s acros s as a humane man who leaves Selvandar to his wife after handing hi m over to her.
Deepa Shankar is a very emotional ch aracter as Selvandar’ s suspicious wife . Her fear makes it true, and the scen e where she realizes her mistake and e mbraces h er husband in the end is spe cial.
The climax, which takes an unexpected d twist, has a brief cameo by producer Sure sh Kamatchi adding a personal to uch to the story.
Along with them, Praveen Kumar G, D aniel Annie Pope, Pazhala Karuppiah, Vetri kumaran, Arul Das, Swetha Shri mpton,R eshma Pasupaletti, Subha, VJ Andrews, Malik, King Kong, Krish have done their job well.
Cinematography: Kedarnath – Gopinat hth, BGM: Sai Dinesh, Editor: Sudarsan R, Art Director: Vairabalan – Veerasam ar, Dance: Brinda – Sandy, Stunt Direct or: S ilva Master, all the technical artis ts have perfectly arranged the scenes a ccording to the director’s idea.
“Raja Kili” is a fictional story based on t he life of a deceased businessman an d is the first film to be directed by his son Umapathi Ramaiah. Others decide who w e are based on our morality. Th e film tell s us that those who lack mor ality affect their personal life, work an d performance. Kudos to Umapathi Ra maiah for bravely directing the screen play of a wealthy man who loses his fa mily life an d career in an instant due to a woman’s lust and ends up as an or phan, using his father as his first film.
Overall, Raja Kili, produced by Suresh Kamatchi under V House Productions, is a sad parrot spoiled by a luxurious life.
