Inauguration of ‘SIMS Penmai’ Centre, whic h provides comprehensive medical services to women
Chennai, March 12- SIMS Hospital today inaugurated ‘SIMS Penmai’, a state-of-the-art comprehensive women’s wellness care centre to provide comprehensive health ad vice and medical treatment to women of all ages.
The centre was inaugurated by renowned actress Urvashi along with her daughter T ejalakshmi Jayan in the presence of SRM Group Chairman Dr. Ravi Pachamuthu.
Providing comprehensive medical service s for women’s health and well-being, ‘SIMS P enmai Centre will operate by fo cuisine very aspect of their well-being. A unique centre for women, it has a team of highly qualifie d doctors and state-of-the-art medical equip ment to impr ove the health of women at ev ery stage of their lives.
It will integrate all four areas – medical adv ice for women, all types of treat ment for ne w borns, specialized care from adolescence to post-menopause, and value-based healt hcare.
On the occasion of the inauguration of this new centre, 100 people who book at SIMS Vadapalani will be provided with free obste trics and gynecology consultation, free ultr asound scan, PAP smears at 50 percent dis count and free semen analysis.
Speaking after inaugurating the centre, act ress Urvashi said, “I would like to con gratul ate the SIMS Hospital management and its talented team of doctors for starting this c entre with the welfare of women in mind. O ver the years, women h ave moved away fr om the usual work and lifestyle and are n ow holding senior positions in various orga ganisations. Society – be it the government, the priv ate sector, hospitals or other institutions – is m aking many efforts to make the lives of wo men easier. However, we still have a long w ay to go. Women’s health is not only a matt er of concern to them, bu t also a matter of concern to the entire society, starting from the family, commun nity and workplace.
