Movie Review -:
Raju, who plays the hero, has acted reali stically and also scores in the comedy sc enes. At the same time, the hero who att racts the audience as a hero at the begin ning of the film, loses his status as a hero during the twists and turns of the screen play by mixing with one of the character rs. As the story progresses, the hero Ra ju disappears.
Bhavya Trika, who plays the heroine, at tracts attention with her beauty and da nce moves, and is also amazing in her act ing. Another heroine, Aadhya, who has s cored in acting on par with Bhavya, adds strength to the flow of the screenplay w ith her lively acting and body language.
Vijay Pappu, who plays Aadhya’s lover, i s ear-splittingly funny in the scenes that follow. Michael, who plays the hero’s fri end, is also no slouch in his performanc e.
Although the experienced performance es of Saranya Ponvannan, Thevardarshi ni, and Charlie add strength to the scree nplay, they do their usual things a little t oo much and leave the audience a little bored. Vikrant, who plays a guest role, is a mass of scenes. The songs are bouncy i n Nivas K. Prasanna’s music. The backgr round music travels according to the yo uth of the main characters and makes th e audience excited.
Cinematographer Babu Kumar.IE has pr esented the entire film in a colorful man ner.Raghav Mirdath, who has written an d directed, has arranged the story and sc reenplay in a way that describes the wa y the current youth see relationships inc luding love, friendship, bestie, love marr iage, marriage arranged by parents, and the way their lives change as a result.
Although it is made clear through doub le meaning dialogues and scenes that th is is a film for people above 16 years of a ge, it seems that such things should be in cluded to attract the youth? Although so me people enjoy such things, the directo r does not realize that most of the youth will hate them. The fact that some trash y scenes have been inserted with the so le aim of winning and with the view that the youth will like them has ruined a goo d story.
The director, who has been talking abou ut other old things in the name of giving opinions and advice, has saved the audie nce from it through comedy scenes. But before that situation can last long, the q uestion of whether to marry a best frien d in the old style is raised and explained, which takes us back to Tamil cinema ma ny years ago. However, the unexpected climax makes it different and enjoyable.
The film, which should be celebrated an d resolved due to the director’s dilemm ma, which serves as a good story and a p latform to fully show all aspects includin g comedy and romance, laments, “What a crime Saravanan”.Overall, ‘Bun Butter Jam’ is a disappointment.
