Story-:
At his family’s lakehouse, Joseph Price researches his late grandfather Benjamin’s studies about the Necronomicon and Deadites. He uncovers the Kandarian Dagger, which Benjamin claims can destroy Deadites. His discovery attracts Deadite Jessica who murders a pair of fishermen before making her way towards Joseph. Joseph’s brother Will gets into a fight with his wife Alice and drunkenly drives away, crashing into Jessica. As Will burns to death in the car wreck, Jessica recites a passage from the Necronomicon and passes the Deadite possession to Will.
Some time later, Alice, Joseph, his girlfriend Thya, his parents Susan and Edgar and grandmother Polly reunite for Will’s cremation. Alice struggles to bond with Susan and Edgar, who blame her for the crash. After the service, Edgar privately visits Will’s coffin before he is cremated. Will’s Deadite possessed corpse breaks out of the coffin, burns Edgar, and kills the cremator.

The family return to the lakehouse where Edgar slowly succumbs to possession. During a tense family dinner, Edgar stabs the family dog Max to death and collapses. Joseph and Thya attempt to drive him to the hospital but he causes the car to crash and murders Thya while Joseph flees. At the house Alice stumbles upon Benjamin’s research and nearly reads from the Necronomicon before she is attacked by a possessed Max.

Joseph arrives at the house when Thya suddenly appears, now also a Deadite. The family lock her in the basement and try to flee but are forced to retreat when Edgar and Max confront them. While the others barricade the house, Thya tricks Polly into letting her out. Thya brutally attacks the entire family, trying to track down the dagger. Joseph manages to kill Thya. Polly, possessed by a Deadite after her encounter with Thya, manipulates a traumatized Susan into letting Deadite Edgar inside. Susan kisses Edgar and begins to succumb to Deadite possession while trying to convince Joseph to tell her the location of the dagger.

Edgar attacks the family, breaking a promise he made to Susan to leave Joseph alone. Alice hides during the chaos and has flashbacks to being abused by Will during their marriage. She arms herself with a rotary saw and finds Susan before being ambushed by Polly. Polly deafens Alice’s right ear but Alice manages to subdue Polly with a stair lift. Joseph succumbs to his wounds at the hands of Edgar and dies while Alice and Susan flee to the bathroom. Alice ties Susan up and confronts her about Will’s abusive past. Susan admits her hatred of Alice and becomes fully possessed. Alice fends her off and escapes to the attic, finding the Kandarian dagger. Deadite Joseph attacks her but she manages to kill him, releasing his body from possession.

Alice flees to the roof pursued by Susan and Edgar but drops the dagger. Climbing back into the house via the chimney, she manages to decapitate Susan and fatally wound Edgar with the saw before setting the house on fire. Alice kills Max with the dagger before collapsing. Will arrives at the burning house and pursues Alice to a building site. After a lengthy struggle, Alice manages to trap Will in a pit filled with tar and kill him with a jackhammer and the dagger.

Paramedics arrive as the sun rises and rescue Alice. Meanwhile, the still-possessed Polly is revealed to have escaped the house and is found by a motorist crawling away. Polly scratches the motorist’s leg, passing on the Deadite possession. In a Post-credit scene, the daughter of the crematoriums’s manager finds Ellie Bixler’s unclaimed ashes before Deadite Ellie appears and kills her.

Movie Review-:
A female figure emerging from the water brutally kills two friends who are fishing in a lake. Meanwhile, a dispute arises between the couple, William and Alice, over the issue of having a child.
William’s younger brother, Joseph, and his girlfriend, Dia, try to mediate and calm them down. However, an angry William drives off alone in his car.

As he travels through the forest bordering the lake, the same female figure that killed the two friends claims his life as well. Subsequently, the family decides to cremate William’s body rather than bury it.
Just as William’s father enters the cremation chamber to see his son’s face one last time, a charred William emerges from the coffin. The rest of the story unfolds through the gruesome events that subsequently plague the family.

Following the success of the 2023 film *Evil Dead Rise*, director Sébastien Vaniček has helmed this movie. He attempts to sustain the fear and suspense established in the opening scene right through to the very end.
The sequences leading up to the interval are filled with nail-biting moments; the scene where the family sits around the dining table, in particular, keeps the audience on the edge of their seats. While the screenplay loses a bit of momentum in the second half—even as a succession of blood-splattered scenes continues to shock—the constant stream of gruesome killings ensures the audience remains gripped, wondering what will happen next. As for the cast, the lead actress, Souheila, delivers a stellar performance.

She excels in both the terrifying sequences and the moments where she fights back. However, it is Errol Shand who truly instills fear throughout the film, constantly creating an atmosphere of dread regarding whom he might kill next.
His fight sequence in the climax is spine-chilling. Hunter Doohan, who impressed in the *Wednesday* series, delivers a fantastic performance throughout the movie. That said, it is impossible to avoid a few questions regarding the logic of certain events while watching the film.

Horror sequences Background score A few questions regarding logic overall, while *Evil Dead: Burn* is a film worth watching once, it certainly won’t disappoint those who enjoy a bloodbath.
