Movie Review -:

Driven by the desire to see their only son become a doctor, his parents sell their assets to enroll him in Vedagiri Medical College. He stays in the college’s men’s hostel, where the room next to his—numbered 418—remains locked at all times. It is rumored that a deadly ghost resides within.

When a woman enters this men’s-only hostel, a terrifying, supernatural horror unfolds. A student begins to investigate the mystery behind this, leading to a harrowing outcome.

A female friend challenges everyone, insisting that she will enter room 418. What is the result of this life-threatening challenge, and what kind of torment does the ghost inflict? The climax reveals all, featuring chilling, heart-stopping sequences.

Chaitra J. Achar, who has appeared in a few Tamil films, plays the lead role—or rather, she portrays the ghost itself.

There is a significant reason why Chaitra becomes a ghost, which is revealed only after the interval.

The film features a cast that includes Ramesh Indira, Suryaraj Veerapathni, Charan Lakkaraju, Preethi Pagadala, Sri Vaishnav, and Shashank Patel.

The production team utilized a four-story building as the primary location, effectively transforming it into a haunted hostel. Through the use of dim lighting and dark, nocturnal settings, they have crafted a truly frightening atmosphere.

The final 20 minutes—centered on a woman’s attempt to enter room 418 and the ensuing terror—are guaranteed to leave the audience frozen in fear.

The film is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili. Venky G.G.’s electrifying music and Dinesh Divakaran’s chilling cinematography serve as the backbone of the film.

Director Kirtan Nadagowda’s decision to weave the mythological tale of Kamsa into the narrative—rather than presenting just another run-of-the-mill ghost story—adds an unexpected twist.

While there have been countless ghost stories, this is likely the first to be intertwined with a mythological character. The film is presented by Prashanth Neel, director of *K.G.F*.*418* is a blood-soaked feast for fans of horror and ghost stories.
