Story -:

The story is centered around the anti-Hindi imposition protests that took place in Tamil Nadu in 1965. The film addresses the impact of socio-political issues, the Tamil language, identity, and political struggles. Sivakarthikeyan (Chezhiyan). Atharvaa (Chinnadurai). Jayam Ravi: (Thirunaadan). Sreeleela (Ratnamala). Initial reviews suggest that the scenes related to the language struggle will be emotional, and the screenplay will be commercially appealing. Although it is an art film, it is expected to attract audiences and be a success. In this context, information is circulating online claiming that this is the story of the film ‘Parasakti’.

‘Set against the backdrop of the civil disobedience movement in the former Madras Presidency, the story features a ruthless and intelligent officer tasked with hunting down and eliminating the rebels. Chezhiyan and his brother Chinnadurai are two individuals with completely different personalities. One is a hardworking firefighter, the other a revolutionary. A deadly cat-and-mouse chase ensues between them. Chezhiyan is forced to abandon his peaceful life to protect his people. The story culminates in a brutal final battle where he stands and fights against powerful forces for justice,’ this is reportedly the story of the film ‘Parasakti’. However, it is noteworthy that the extent to which this is true is unknown.

Movie Review -:

The film opens with a special title card for Sivakarthikeyan’s 25th film. The struggle for imposition of Hindi is an important part of the history of Tamil Nadu. Director Sudha Kongara has tried to tell it as a good entertainment film with comedy, sentiment, love and revolution. A lot of things about Hindi language resistance are discussed in the first half of the film. Ravi Mohan’s performance as the villain is impressive. Atharva’s character is the biggest strength of the film The love scenes between Sivakarthikeyan and Srileela are mostly featured in the first half and these scenes may get boring for some. Parasakthi is a slow moving family drama followed by an emotional scene that heats up in the interlude. A storyline that will fuel Sivakarthikeyan’s performance after Amaran. Fans who have seen the movie Parashakti said that.

Parasakthi is the first film from Tamil cinema to enter the Pongal festival. Sivakarthikeyan is the hero of this film directed by Sudha Kongara. This is the debut film of Ravi Mohan as the villain and Srileela as the heroine. Parashakti is music director GV Prakashkumar’s 100th film. The film produced by Akash Baskaran on behalf of Don Pictures has been released worldwide today. In this situation, the netizens who have seen the first show of Parashakti are posting their reviews. Let’s see about that. Sivakarthikeyan is carrying the whole Parashakti film. His performance is a major strength of the film.

Ravi Mohan scores well in his role. Both Atharva & Srileela who play the rebels have given good performances. GV Prakash’s background music and songs are a major strength of the film – superb! But the emotional connect is lost due to abrupt editing changes. The interval block and climax are well placed. Although the content is powerful, the screenplay seems to be written out of convenience. Sudha Kongara has posted that this is an average film.

Sivakarthikeyan has truly lived the character of Chezhiyan. Living a life of struggle, giving up the fight after a loss, and then jumping back into the fray realizing that nothing can be achieved without a fight, the scenes where he fights till the very end, shedding blood, show that Sivakarthikeyan has elevated himself as an actor. This is definitely a milestone film for him.

Ravi Mohan, as an officer supporting the government throughout the film, performs in a way that makes your heart pound, doing whatever it takes to ensure his will prevails, regardless of the number of lives lost. A menacing performance. Atharvaa impresses as an energetic young man, and Sreeleela makes her Tamil debut with a good performance, but the romance scenes between her and Sivakarthikeyan in the first half test the audience’s patience. Sreeleela scores in the second half and the climax. Since the film is against the imposition of Hindi, even though many historical events are shown as fictional or dramatized, the audience connects with the film and understands the scenes that have been commented on and cut. At the same time, the biggest strength of the film is its dialogues. Dialogues like “I am against the imposition of Hindi, not Hindi itself,” “First you said learn Hindi to get a job, now you’re saying speak like a Hindi speaker,” “Isn’t it fair to ask both to start the race from the same starting line?”, “The Tamilian fought even before the Sepoy Mutiny, don’t give me patriotism classes,” are electrifying and create a huge impact.

The artwork gives the experience of actually being transported to the 1960s. The film scores big in the selection of its characters. The Michael Reddy reference and Basil Joseph’s cameo in the climax provide abundant goosebumps. The romantic scenes in the first half could definitely have been edited; they test the audience’s patience. The excessive cuts and muted scenes raise the question of whether everyone will understand it. Technically, the film excels in music, cinematography, and artwork.
All the actors in the film. Sparkling dialogues.

Technical work. Love scenes in the first half. In short, this Parasakthi is an ever-burning flame in the hearts of Tamils.
