*“Gandhi Krishna’s films feel like experiencing a novel on screen, and Breakfast is one such journey” – G.V. Prakash Kumar*

In an industry where versatility and consistency define longevity, G. V. Prakash Kumar continues to stand tall as one of the most dynamic icon, effortlessly balancing a successful career as both a music composer and actor. With a packed slate of projects across languages and genres, GV Prakash Kumar remains one of the most sought-after names in the industry. Amidst his busy schedule, he reunites with filmmaker Ar. Gandhi Krishna for Breakfast, marking their collaboration after the memorable Anandha Thandavam. The film is all set for a worldwide theatrical release on April 24.

Sharing his thoughts on the project, G. V. Prakash Kumar says, “Working again with Gandhi Krishna sir feels very special to me. ‘Anandha Thandavam’ came at a very important phase in my career, and I will always be grateful to him for trusting me and giving me the space to create music that connected with audiences. That film gave me some of my early chartbusters and a strong foundation as a composer.

What I admire about his filmmaking is the way he approaches relationships—with depth, sensitivity, and honesty. Gandhi Krishna films always feel like visually experiencing a novel, where every emotion is layered and every character carries a silent story within. ‘Breakfast’ is one such film that gently explores the complexities of modern-day relationships and the emotions that bind people together.

For this film, I wanted the music to flow organically with the narrative—to not overpower, but to stay with the characters and elevate their emotional journey. I believe the soundtrack will resonate with listeners even beyond the film, and I’m really excited for audiences to experience it on the big screen.”

Breakfast, written and directed by Ar. Gandhi Krishna, is produced by Girija Varadaraj under the banner of Prem Classic Pictures. The film stars Raanav and Rosmin in lead roles, alongside a strong supporting cast including Sampath Raj, Kasturi, Archana, Krithik Mohan, and Amitha Ranganath. With evocative visuals captured by cinematographer M. V. Paneer Selvam and editing handled by S. Bhaaskar and Sujith, the film blends narrative depth with technical finesse. Slated for a worldwide theatrical release on April 24, Breakfast is expected to offer an emotionally impactful and strikingly rich cinematic experience.
