Story-:

The story is set against the backdrop of a Muslim family living in the 1980s.

Kasthuriraja lives in a joint family with his younger brother; they make a living through weaving. Over time, the advent of power looms severely impacts their traditional weaving business. Consequently, Kasthuriraja’s younger brother goes to Riyadh for work.

Meanwhile, Kasthuriraja’s son, Esha, spends his time locally, caught up in romance and local social ties.

Due to circumstances, Esha also goes abroad for work, bringing a measure of financial prosperity to the family. Upon his return, wedding arrangements are made for him, but the family faces numerous obstacles and internal issues. Complicating matters further, Esha has a past romance. Did Esha’s wedding eventually take place? Did he go abroad again? What became of his former girlfriend? Did they resume their weaving business? The rest of the film answers these questions.
