Story-
Ravi Teja’s new movie is ‘Irumudi Kattu’. Directed by Siva Nirvana, the film features Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead. Saikumar, Baby Nakshatra, Ramesh Indira, Swasika Vijay, Meesala Laxman, Ajay Ghosh and others have played important roles. Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar on behalf of Maitri Movie Makers, the film has hit the theaters today. Trinath (Ravi Teja), his wife Kaveri (Priya Bhavani Shankar) and daughter Maniamma (Baby Nakshatra) live happily in Polluru village. He drives an auto and runs a banana plantation. An ardent devotee who garlands Ayyappan every year. He does not touch wine when the garland is on, but drinks it when the garland is removed. He lives on his daughter. MLA (Ramesh Indira) arranges a bus for that town. The plot of the film is the sudden death and mysterious incidents that happen after that.

Movie Review -:
A Ravi Teja film is all about mass, comedy and action. But, Ravi Teja is not seen in this film, he is seen as Trinath. He is so involved in acting. Director Siva Nirvana brings us together with the film in father-daughter sentimental scenes. A minus is that the climax is predictable, though there are some thrilling twists. However, the emotional making of Siva Nirvana lifts the film.
Ravi Teja has lived the character of Trinath. He is especially amazing in sentimental scenes. Baby Nakshatra, who played the daughter, also performed well. The chemistry between the two is a major strength of the film. Ramesh Indira as the MLA, Swasika Vijay as the teacher and Ajay Ghosh as the villain have done their roles well. The twist in Saikumar’s role as Kuruswamy is okay.
G.V. Ayyappan’s songs with Prakash’s music helped the film. Other songs range from approx. The camera work is exquisite. Could have paid a little more attention to the editing. Although director Siva Nirvana has taken a good story, it is a typical one. But, the way he tells the story is interesting. The scenes related to father-daughter sentiment and Ayyappa Bhakti are a plus for the film.
Irumudi Kattu is an emotional action drama about a father-daughter love struggle against the backdrop of Ayyappa devotees. This is a new venture by Ravi Teja. The message that girls should be brought up with courage and not with fear is great. Irumudi Kattu is a film that can be watched with family.
