Story-:
kanguwa’s father is ruling a place cal led Perumachi in Aindi. War is their w ay of life. Fire is God. Another place is ruled by Bobby Deol. Blood is the god for their liv ing area. The film travels to the period p ortion and the present through the moo n. He regrets not be ing able to save the life of the boy who lost his parents duri ng the Ganguwa era. Did Francis Surya save that child with super brain power in the presen t? Isn’t it? That’s the story of th e first episode of Kangua.

Movie Review -:
The story moves in two different centu ries, 1070 and 2024. Both centuries are shown alternately. Francis of the prese nt century is a bounty hunter. Surya in 1070 was a tribal warrior. They descri be him in pure Tamil while showing hi m. They show about 5 villages in 1070. The film goes from a party in Goa to a war in an ancient village without any connection.
The fight scenes are different. In 1070, scenes with women attacking enemies, snakes and scorpions stand out. Watch ing in 3D gives us the feeling of being on the battlefield. The visual effects a re great, even if the clarity is lacking in Kangua.
The 1070 looks amazing when it shows up. But could have paid more attentio n to the screenplay. After declaring wa r Surya is thrown out of the village for some reasons. After that Surya and the boy meet again. The bond between Sur ya and the boy is the focus of the film. But we don’t fully realize it. Suriya has acted wonderfully as a person belongi ng to two different eras.
Shiva has shown a lot of things in clim es. Ancient Surya’s village rituals have beautifully shown their weapons and t heir non-use of weapons while praying before going into battle. But they all co me and go fast. Villain Bobby Deol, the leader of the enemy village, has four s ons. We don’t get time to know and un derstand them. It has comedic scenes in present time. I couldn’t help but lau gh at that. It makes me think that Shi va could have avoided many things.
The main characters coming from the past is good. He could have shown only one century without speaking. Showin g too many things is less interesting.
