City-Based Orthopaedic Surgeon Honoured as South India's First to Complete 1,000 Successful Robotic Knee Replacement Surgeries
1. Dr. S. Arumugam, Senior Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement Specialist and Head-Department of Robotic Joint Reconstruction at Prashanth Hospitals, has been felicitated for achieving a significant milestone of completing 1,000 successful robotic-assisted knee replacement surgeries, making him the first surgeon in South India to accomplish this feat.
2. The recognition was presented by Padma Shri Dr. Mayilvahanan Natarajan, Senior Orthopaedic Surgeon and Former Vice-Chancellor of Dr. M.G.R. Medical University.
