City Diabetologist Invited for at Home Reception by President of India Chennai, January 21,2026:Dr V Mohan, Chairman of Dr Mohan’s Diabetes Specialties Centre and Madras Diabetes Research Foundation has been invited by the President of India, Her Excellency, Smt. Droupadi Murmu for ‘At Home Reception’ at Rashtrapati Bhavan to coincide with the Republic Day celebrations on 26th January this year. Dr Mohan is among 11 doctors invited from all over the country and the only one from Tamil Nadu. Dr Mohan has carried out extensive research on diabetes over the last 50 years including several pan India studies on the Epidemiology of Diabetes, monogenic diabetes and gestational diabetes.
