Story -:

The title of the film is also the core of the film! The hero looks at the heroine and thinks, ‘Why did you do something to me?’

Karthik meets a call girl named Madhu and falls in love with her. Madhu also likes Karthik and both join Living Together. As this relationship is slowly moving towards marriage, Karthik, who is an alcoholic, leaves Madhu Karthik, who is intoxicated and angry, and madhu leaves Karthik. The story of the film is about what that inseparability does to Karthik and how he recovers from it.

Movie Review -:

Madhu is a native speake of Bengali. Because of that, most of the movie’s subtitles are in English. Since it’s a live sound recording, it takes a bit of effort to get used to listening to the lyrics after turning off the background music.

There are very few characters in the film. Except for the scene where the sea approaches, all other scenes are filled with close-up shots of the characters inside the house. In that case, the length of the film is two and a half hours which is a bit too much. D.Anthony has written, directed, acted as the hero and edited the film. Anthony has put ‘Ah!’ as the plot and the way it has been elaborated and written. The character casting and some dialogues have been handled very maturely. Karthik, a young man who has lost his mother and languishes in loneliness and darkness, dissolves himself in alcohol and smoke. He is a person who does not think about whether the other person will be hurt and does not care about anything. On one hand, the film is filled with alcohol and smoke, but on the other hand, Karthik’s uncensored speech has given the film an A certificate.

On the wall of Karthik’s house, Bar is a temple is written in a large size Pister.Madhu brings Karthik to the limelight through her love. But, due to drinking and thoughtless speech, he loses that brightness again. Madhu, who debuts as a prostitute, slowly charms the audience. Even the adoration for him, the long-mouthed Karthik did not rise to the end for the audience. In this way, it must be said that Anthony has found success for that character with his performance.

However, he could not transform his writing into visual art. The characters are talking endlessly. Gautham Vasudev Menon’s influence is evident in his making style. The music is thick as if invading the film. Jaeger’s songs are composed and background music is provided by Joe Reda. Riya Manoj as the girl Shreya and Navya Suji as Rekha, the friend’s wife who is bullied by Karthik, are excellent. Madhumita Das as the heroine is the perfect choice. In fact, although love is the reason that brings Karthik to the limelight, it is his friend Srini who always stands by Karthik.

Regine Roshan, who played the role of Master Sheer in the film Nakshatra Nagarunga, has played the role of Srini in the film. Rather than being a romantic film or a film about a young man reaching the light from darkness, it can be said to be a film that glorifies friendship. It is Srini who also pacifies the heroine Madhu! The truth of this film is that the human mind will never understand the beauty of the one who is always there as a close companion. Like this movie, the addictive
