Story-:
The villain, Maharaj Rathore, is implementing the ‘One Nation, One Pipeline’ project in India in collusion with China. While the project sounds appealing, it is entirely detrimental to the public; Rathore’s actual plan is to seize control of India’s entire water supply and plunge the populace into chaos.
Laila (Sameera Thomas) uncovers this plot but is killed by the villain’s gang. Suspecting foul play in her death, Karthi (Vijay Prakash) sets out to discover the truth. Yugi Sethu reveals that only one man can stop the ‘One Nation, One Pipeline’ project: Sardar. Sardar was once a top-tier spy trained by India; believing the nation and its future to be more important than his own family, he made a massive sacrifice and bore the stigma of being branded a traitor.
Furthermore, Maharaj Rathore had massacred Sardar’s family. Consequently, Sardar has spent 32 years in prison due to this betrayal, and the team attempts to get the ‘Code Red’ message to him.
Their efforts succeed, and the ‘Code Red’ reaches Sardar. He escapes from prison and, teaming up with his son, thwarts the ‘One Nation, One Pipeline’ project. However, insisting that the truth about him must be revealed to the world—declaring “Once a spy, always a spy”—he moves on. Following these events, Vijay Prakash, who had been dismissed from the police force, joins RAW as a spy agent. Let us now look at the review for the sequel, *Sardar 2*.

Movie Review-:
In the first part of *Sardar*, director P.S. Mithran highlighted the impact of water-related issues on the public and the resulting annual death toll among children.
In *Sardar 2*, he focuses on the significant role the antibiotic ‘Colistin’ plays in our daily lives and the catastrophic future consequences associated with it.
The way he conveyed this message—featuring S.J. Suryah, Yogi Babu, and Nizhalgal Ravi—was excellent, and the scene was crafted brilliantly; it managed to make the audience both laugh and reflect. While the director conveyed the core message perfectly, the film’s runtime could have been trimmed slightly. Additionally, the emotional connection could have been stronger.
Karthi has delivered outstanding performances in both roles—as Sardar and as his son, Vijaya Prakash. He particularly shines in the Sardar flashback sequences, the interval entry, and the action scenes.
S.J. Suryah is menacing as the villain, living up to his reputation. In every scene he appears in, he proves that only he could pull off such a performance.
The sequence featuring S.J. Suryah alongside Yogi Babu and Nizhalgal Ravi drew thunderous applause in the theater. Malavika Mohanan captures attention with her impressive performance as an agent. The supporting cast—including Nassar, Ashika Ranganath, Avinash, Babu Antony, Yogi Babu, and Nizhalgal Ravi—have all done justice to their respective roles.
The action sequences in the film are spectacular. Similarly, the cinematography, Sam C.S.’s background score, and the technical work are all excellent. Plus points:
