Story -:
Living in the slums of Chennai, the hero KJR has been involved in athletics since his childhood. Believing that sports alone will improve his standard of living, he is extremely involved in running, although he does not have any basic facilities for a sportsman, he wins the title of champion with record points in a national level competition and qualifies directly for the Commonwealth Games.
But a scandal-ridden National Athletic Association is hampering his progress. He tries to win the title of champion in an international competition, but appeals to the state sports department and sports minister in many places, but to no avail.

Despite all the qualifications, KJR, who is suing the court against being denied a chance, tries to defend his case without a lawyer and get the recognition he deserves in the sports industry. Did he succeed in this endeavour? “Recognition” is a reflection of the frustrations of sportspersons who have not received recognition for themselves even though they deserve it.

Movie Review-:
Filmmaker KJR, who plays the hero, has done an amazing body transformation for the athlete. It is seen throughout the film that he has done rigorous exercise for that. Similarly, if you take some training in acting, you can be amazing as an actor. But because Manushan has given more importance to exercise, he is crawling with the same reactions in all the scenes without focusing on acting. At the same time, even though he has more opportunities to speak more than to act, even in that limited opportunity, his lack of acting is glaring.

Viji Venkatesh playing the role of public prosecutor, Isabella playing the role of the hero’s sister, Vasundhara playing the role of athletics coach, Rama playing the role of the hero’s mother, Sinthuri playing the role of the athlete’s friend, Shaun playing the president of the National Athletic Association, Arul D. Shankar playing the state sports officer, Mansoor Alikhan playing the sports minister, Rangaraj playing the judges. Pandey and Mohan Raman, who have played other roles, have not made any impact in the film, but have helped the flow of the screenplay.
Cinematographer A. Viswanath has shot the scenes directly in the slum areas of Chennai so that the artificiality is visible on the faces of the characters. It seems obvious that the green mat has been used more than a realistic presentation of the athletic competition. At the same time, the cinematography struggles to show its uniqueness as the entire second half moves around the court premises. Gibran Vaipoda’s music lends a big hand to the film. The background music, which enlivens the emotions of the storytellers, travels throughout the film and adds strength.

Cinematographer Dinesh Kumar, though not a very challenging task, has composed the scenes to keep the script moving smoothly.
Tenbhadiyan, which is written and directed, has made an effort to bring to light the frauds in the sports industry not only in Tamil Nadu, but also in India. He has also raised the question.
Will the court listen so patiently to the voice of a common man who is struggling to get his recognition through the law?, that too without a lawyer and even listen to him calmly narrate the evidence of many frauds, it all looks cinematic and not close to the truth.

Even though the court arguments travel cinematically, in the midst of movies that only depict the journey of an athlete, the negligence of the rulers, the irresponsible officials, the truth of how the associations that are supposed to develop the sport are killing it, and the director Tenbhadian has succeeded in conveying the mental pain of many worthy athletes who are unable to get close to the achievement despite many trials. All in all, ‘Angeekaram’ will definitely get people’s support.
