Movie Review-:

Aadarsh Madhikanth, who consistently chooses horror and unique supernatural storylines, has once again delivered an excellent performance in an intriguing horror tale. He earns praise for his expressive portrayal of various emotions—from his disheveled appearance and the struggle of being mired in debt to the loss of self-control after being possessed by a demon, followed by the anguish of realizing his state.

Jovita Livingston, playing the protagonist’s wife, is a perfect fit for the role of a traditional homemaker; she captures the audience’s attention with a performance that blends fear and anxiety.

Aruvi Madhan and Sonia Agarwal, who play pivotal roles, leave a lasting impression on the audience despite their limited screen time.

The actress playing the protagonist’s sister has performed her role effectively.

Amudhavanan (as the protagonist’s friend), Rafiq Badsha (as the police inspector), and K. Bhagyaraj and Livingston (in special appearances) have all contributed significantly to the strength of the screenplay.

Cinematographer Sangeeth Manigopal captures the horror sequences in a terrifying manner, making the audience’s hearts race.

Vignesh Raja’s background score effectively conveys the horror of the scenes, instilling fear in the viewers.

The work of editor G.J. Thiruchelvam, the VFX team at P.R. Creation Studios, and the art director has vastly enhanced the film’s quality.

Writer-director K.S. Kishan has skillfully handled the horror genre, successfully terrifying the audience. Even though the events unfold within a single house, he creates a chilling atmosphere and keeps viewers on the edge of their seats throughout many scenes.

Although there are some flaws in the storytelling, director K.S. Kishan has delivered high-quality horror sequences from a technical standpoint, managing to satisfy horror movie fans to some extent.

All in all, while the film may not quite live up to the magnitude suggested by the title ‘Dark Giant’, it does succeed in delivering a dose of horror.
