Rajasthani Association Tamilnad Laun ches Prestigious ‘Rajasthani-Tamil Sev a Awards’ to Celebrate

Chennai, 21st December 2024: The Raja sthani Association Tamilnadu (the Ass ociation), a distinguished organization dev o voted to social service and cultur al integration, proudly announces the launch of its Rajasthani-Tamil Seva Aw ards. The inaugural ceremony, held to day in Chen nai, was honored by the pr esence of Ho n’ble Justice Mr. C. Sarav anan of the Hig h Court of Madras and Shri Shantilal Jai n, MD & CEO of India n Bank, who grace ed the occasion as g uests of honor.

The Rajasthani-Tamil Seva Awards are d esigned to acknowledge exceptional con tributions that have meaningfully advan ced the welfare of Tamilnadu’s people.T he awards span eight critical categories—Agriculture & Rural Devel opment, Public Services, Education, H ealthcare, Environment & Sustainabil ity, Enterpreneurship & Industry, Soci al Welfare, and M edia & Communicati on—celebrating the profound impact of individuals and organizations who se work uplifts Tamilnadu. Each awar d carries a cash prize of INR 2 lakh, a trophy, and a citation, underscoring th e Association’s unwavering commitme nt to honoring those whose contributi ons benefit the people and the progres s of Tamilnadu.

The esteemed jury, chaired by Shri S. Gurumurthy, renowned thought leade r and editor of Tughluq Tamil Weekly, include s distinguished individuals su ch as Prof. E. Balagurusamy, former Vi ce-Chancelo r of Anna University, Shri N. Ravi, senior journalist and former Editor-in-Chief of The Hindu, Shri N. S ugalchand Jain, philanthropist and fou nder of the Bhagwan Mahaveer Award s, and Dr. Smt. Padma Subrahmanyam m, Padma Vibhushan awar dee and glo bally acclaimed Bharatanatyam schol ar.

Hon’ble Mr. Justice C. Saravanan, Chief Guest, remarked:
