Blue Star launches a comprehensive range of 150 models of Room AC

Plans to fortify its position in Smart Wifi and Heavy Duty AC segments.

Blue Star Limited unveiled its new compre hensive range of 150 models of Room ACs today,including a ‘flagship premium’ range, for the upcoming summer season. The line up features inverter, fixed speed, and windo w ACs, addressing the needs of every cons- umer segment across all price points. The demand for room ACs is seeing substantial growth, driven by int ense summer heat acr across various parts o f the country and the rising disposable incomes of India’s expand ing middle class. Additionally, this growth is fueled by the increasing demand in Tier 3, 4, and 5 markets, as well as by replacemem ent buyers and those purchasing ACs for ad ditional rooms in their homes. According to estimates, India’s AC industry is projected to double by FY 30 . To meet this growing demand, Blue Star has launched a slew of products, leveraging its manufacturing, R &D and innovation capabilities to interduce new, differentiated and best in  class ACs.

New Range of Air Conditioners for 2025 T he Company has launched a comprehensiv e range of models in the 3- star and 5-star categories, offering high cooling performan ce under extreme conditions. These model sare available in various cooling capacities from 0.8 TR to 4 TR, with attractive prices starting at Rs 28,990 .

This includes an elaborate ra nge of near rly 40 models of Smart Wifi ACs which have un ique and smart feature such as ‘Customise d Sleep’, where one can preset the tempera rature,fan speed, cool/fan mode and switch on/ off the AC every hour for 12 hours, ensu ring interrupted sleep. With Voice Comman d Technology, cust- omers can operate the ir  ACs through their smart devices, such a s Am azon Alexa or Google Home using En glish or Hindi voice commands. In addition , the Energy Management feature offers com plete control over the AC’s energy consump tion pro- viding accessibility to track, contr ol and limit the AC usage resulting in the pr e vention of excessive energy consumption.

The newly launched ACs are equipped with various powerful features. These include an innovative feature called ‘AI Pro+’, a comp lex and intuitive algorit hm that senses vari ousparameters, adjusts, monitors and d eliv ers max- imum comfort. Another standout feaureis ‘Defrost Clean Technology’, a thr ee-step p rocess designed to keep the ind oor unit of the AC clean and maintain opti mal per formance. It begins with the fros ting o f the coil, followed by melting and dr ying, which significantly enhances perform mance and pro- longs it s lifespan.Additio nally, all Blue Star inverter ACs are S mart Ready and can be upgraded to Sm art ACs with the addition of a separate s mart mod dule.

Further more, these comprise features s uch as ‘Turbo Cool’ for fast cooling; ‘ Con vertable 6-in-1 cooling’, which allows the c ustomer to adjust the cooling capacity upw ards or down- wards; and Nano Blu Protect Technology and Hydrophilic ‘Blue Fin’ coating for Both and OD Us, to prevent coil corrosion and leaka ge and for longer life, respectively.

Some other unique features include Dig i Q Octa sensors that deliver unparalleled a ac curacy and reliability; a 4 way swing and wi de angle lou vre movement for uniform coo ling and precision coolin g technology for se tting temperature at every 0.5°C. Additio nally, this range offers an enhanced spectru m of filtr- ation opti ns such as a HEPA filt er, PM 2.5 filt eran d Anti-Microbial with acti vated carbon, ensuring that the air is not on ly cool but also pure and clean. Another key aspect of Blue Star’s inverter ACs is their wi de operating voltage  ange, eliminating the need for an external voltage stabilizer.

Blue Star’s ‘Super E nergy-Efficient ACs’ fe ature a unique Dynamic Drive Technology toachievenh hanced energy efficiency with optimised cooling by delivering high airflo w volumes. As a result, the 1 TR Inverter S plit ACs achieves a 6.25 I SEER, making it 64 % more energy efficient than a 3-Star In verter AC .

As temperatures across Indi ia continue to rise each year during the peak summer  se ason,the Company offe rs its high-perform nce range of ‘Heavy Duty ACs.’ Built with su perior specifications, these ACs deliver exc eptional cooli ng power and comfort, even in scorching heat of up to 56°C. Featuring a robust ai r throw of up to 55 feet, they main- tain full cooling capacity even at 43°C, ensu ring opti mal performance in extreme cond itions.

Hot & Cold ACs’ are designed to provide co mfort year round. Blue Star has developed one model that can op e- rate at ambient te mperatures down to – 10°C, specifically des igned for markets like Srinagar. Another ran ge is designed to opera teat ambient tempe rature sdown to -2 °C, catering to locations across the rest of the country that face ha rsh winter. Finally, the Company’s range that integrates comfort and health, ‘ AC s with A nti Virus Technology’,effectively filters out harmful microbes and particulate  matter. .Customers can also operate these AC s as air purifiers, especially in the winter.

Expanding Manu facturing Footprint

Blue Star, through i ts fully owned subsidiar y Blue Star Cli matech Limited, has establis hed a cutting edge manufacturing  facility in Sri City, AndhraPradesh, which began co mmercial production in January 2023. Addi tionally, the Co mpany operates two dedicat ed plants  in Himachal Pradesh for manufa cturing room air conditioners. These facilit ies a requipped with advanced automation t echnologies, including state of the art asse sembly lines and mat erial handling system ems, along with comprehensive initiatives f nocused on Iot integration and digitalisatio n. With these plants, Blue Star’s pr oduction capacity is currently around 1. 4 million ro om ACs, with plans for gradual expansion t o 1.8 milli on units in the nearfuture.
